Mercedes-Benz, a sponsor of the Bafana Bafana football team, has provided the World Cup hopefuls with a new R3-million Multego luxury team coach, in a three-year sponsorship deal.
The coach has an unique interior layout, to accommodate the special needs of a national sports team.
It seats 40 passengers with individual seat-belts. In the rear is a U-shaped couch and conference table.
The interior is finished in high-quality, plush cream leather.
Further comfort features include a DVD entertainment system with three television screens, full air-conditioning, and a portable fridge in the front and rear of the coach.
The development of the bus-body was a joint project between the Mercedes-Benz design centre, in Germany, and the company’s bus-body building partner, Marcopolo.
